An exciting cliffhanger marks the episode's finale, alluding to the fabled "Dance of the Dragons"—a mythical showdown between Dragonriders. Tragically, things heat up when Rhaenyra's son Lucerys is murdered by Prince Aemond and his dragon Vhagar.
