Marvel Studios' blockbuster film Avengers: Endgame is returning to the big screen once again to create a sensation. This time, the film will be re-released in theaters under the name Avengers: Endgame Encore. The film will be released in theaters on September 25, 2026. Interestingly, this time, audiences will also get to see some new footage in the film.
Avengers: Endgame Encore Will Be 4 Minutes Longer
According to a report in the Times of India, the runtime of Avengers: Endgame, released in 2019, was 3 hours and 1 minute. Meanwhile, the new version, "Avengers: Endgame Encore," is said to have a runtime of 3 hours and 5 minutes, or 185 minutes. This means that approximately 4 minutes of new, exclusive footage will be added to the film. Therefore, this re-release will be special for Marvel fans.

The New Footage Could Be Linked To Marvel's Next Major Film, Avengers: Doomsday
The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 18, 2026. According to director Joe Russo, the new footage added to "Avengers: Endgame Encore" will be linked to Marvel's upcoming film, "Avengers: Doomsday." The new footage could feature a scene where Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, meets Loki in the past.

What Happened In 'Endgame'?

The biggest surprise in the film will be Robert Downey Jr., the actor best known for his role as Iron Man, who will play the villain Doctor Doom.
