'The Vvaan' Undergoes Re-Shoot And Re-Editing
According to the report, Deepak Mishra and the original team associated with The Viral Fever (TVF), who had been involved with the project from its early stages, are no longer leading the film.
Production sources cited in the report claim that Neeraj Kothari and Sahir Raza are now handling the editing work and are working under the direction of Ektaa Kapoor. Balaji Motion Pictures has been attached to the project as a co-producer from the beginning.
The report further states that the decision to re-shoot portions of the film came after Sidharth Malhotra's request. Sources reportedly said the actor asked for 17 days of additional shooting, with particular attention being given to the film's climax and action sequences.
'The Vvaan - Force of the Forrest' is described as a folk thriller and mythological film. The project was announced in 2024, with Sidharth Malhotra revealed as its lead. Earlier this year, reports had also suggested that Sidharth and Tamannaah would shoot a dance sequence for the film in Mumbai.
