Goodbye Song 'Chann Pardesi' Out: Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta's Chemistry Justifies The Soulful Track

After a heartwarming and emotional trailer, the makers of the film ‘Goodbye’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, and Neena Gupta, have released a new track titled ‘Chann Pardesi.’ 

New Delhi: After a heartwarming and emotional trailer, the makers of the film ‘Goodbye’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, and Neena Gupta, have released a new track titled ‘Chann Pardesi.’ 

The song showcases the beautiful chemistry between Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta. After 40 years of working in the industry, this is the first-time veterans Amitabh Bachchan & Neena Gupta will be seen on-screen as a couple. The song portrays megastar Amitabh Bachchan reminiscing with a smile on his face and also grieving about the loss of his loved one. The song depicts Neena Gupta’s amusing as well as emotional side and how she always found a way to keep everyone around her happy with utmost care and love.   

The song feels like a warm hug on a bad day and it’s sung and composed in the melodious voice of Amit Trivedi and the lyrics are penned by Swanand Kirkire.   

The movie will mark Rashmika Mandanna’s Bollywood debut. Talking about her character in the film,  

Referring to her initial hesitation to take on the role, Rashmika said during her conversation with IANS: "When Vikas sir came with the script I was like, how I am going to do this. I am just a fun-loving and easy-going person and I asked him, 'Have you approached the right person?'. The character is the complete opposite of me, but he showed confidence in me." 

She continued: "I just got to know that my eyes can emote either sadness or anger, and these are two emotions I can express very well. Right now, I am experimenting with my craft; There's no fun in doing the same thing again and again." 

The movie's trailer has already been getting a lot of attention because of its heartwarming storyline. The film, directed by Vikas Bahl, showcases the Bhalla family’s journey of dealing with grief and then being there for each other through the different turns of events. The film’s heart-touching storyline and incredibly accomplished star cast have already intrigued the audience to watch the upcoming family drama. 

The film also stars Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elli AvrRam, Sahil Mehta and Shivin Narang in supporting roles. Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Good Co., 'GoodBye' is all set to release in cinemas on October 7.
