#GaZa Wedding: Father-In-Law Ismail Darbar Praises Gauahar Khan; Says ‘Every Small Detail Of The Decoration Was Her Choice’

New Delhi: ‘Bigg Boss 7’ winner Gauahar Khan tied the knot with her boyfriend Zaid Darbar on December 25, 2020. The couple met at a grocery store and fell in love during the COVID-19 lockdown. The diva announced her engagement with Ismail Darbar’s son Zaid last month. The proud father-in-law is all praises for his daughter-in-law. He told TOI, “I have been in Mumbai since 40 years and attended several weddings in my family. I am proud and happy about the fact that not just that my son is married today but also the manner in which the whole thing was decorated and held. The entire credit of this goes to my daughter-in-law Gauahar Khan. Every small detail of the decoration was her selection.” Ismail added, “Last night, Zaid came to my room and said that you will be surprised to see the decoration tomorrow at the wedding. Zaid told me that she always asked him if he was okay with whatever she was arranging and he had no reason to differ.” The ‘Tadap Tadap Ke’ composer also revealed that every single detail in the wedding has been taken care by Gauahar including the food. He was quoted saying by the publication, “The mutton was delicious. The vegetarian dishes were equally awesome. Gauahar came and asked me if I liked the food as Zaid had told her that agar khaana achcha nahi hota toh mera mood kharab ho jaata hai.” Speaking about another reception that will be held today at ITC Maratha, Ismail Darbar revealed that owing to the lockdown protocols, they could not invite many people in their wedding. So, today’s reception will have lot of Zaid Darbar’s friend. Reportedly, the newlyweds are soon going to leave for Mecca for Umra after their wedding celebrations. On the professional front, Gauahar was recently seen as a 'Toofani Senior' in 'Bigg Boss 14'. She entered the 'BB 14' house along with Sidharth Shukla and Hina Khan. Gauahar is the winner of the seventh season of the popular reality show which is hosted by Salman Khan.
