New Delhi: Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, is now only the second solo artist to have ever released a World Cup official soundtrack. He is also the first to have a solo song for the international football tournament in more than 24 years since Ricky Martin's The Cup Of Life of 1998. The lively song was released online prior to the opening ceremony, which is scheduled to start on Sunday at 7:30 IST. The song will be performed live on stage by Jungkook and Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi at 9 PM IST. 


The track emphasises the enthusiasm that the World Cup creates every four years and will undoubtedly make the game thrilling, both on and off the field.

The song Dreamers is about being a dreamer who will make it happen because they believe it. The peppy tune is among the most well-liked World Cup-related songs to have been released in recent years. The English song that Jungkook sings for the official soundtrack of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup showcases his amazing vocal range throughout. 


“Look who we are, we are the dreamers, we’ll make it happen ’cause we believe it, look who we are, we are the dreamers, we’ll make it happen ’cause we can see it,” is how the song begins, with BTS’ host country, South Korea, also looking to realise its dream of making it past the group stage for the first time since 2010.


Who is Jungkook?


The youngest member of BTS and frequently referred to as the "Golden Maknae," Jungkook was born in Busan, South Korea, on September 1, 1997.  BTS, a seven-member group, last gave a live performance as a unit during the World Expo 2030 Busan Korea Concert. BTS is presently on break and Kim Seok-jin, the group's oldest member, will be required to serve in the military in December.


With 69 million Instagram followers and 42.1 million Twitter followers, in addition to various fan pages, BTS' social media presence speaks for itself. On Instagram, Jungkook has 47.9 million fans. The name and logo of the BTS supporters, known as the ARMY, are tattooed on Jungkook. The moniker "FIFAKOOK" was first used on social media by the ARMY after his performance at the opening ceremony was confirmed.

FIFA World Cup 2022:


The men's national teams of the FIFA member associations will compete in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will be its 22nd edition. From November 20 to December 18, 2022, the much-awaited tournament will be held in Qatar. This is the first World Cup to be held in the Arab world, and the second World Cup that is scheduled to be held entirely in Asia after the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan.
