Ghazal maestro Pankaj Udhas passed away on February 26. Singer Sonu Nigam took to his Instagram and offered condolences to his family. The singer wrote, " One of the most important part of my childhood, is lost today. Shri Pankaj Udhas ji, I will miss you forever. My heart cries knowing that you are no more. Thank you for being there. Om Shanti.”
Veteran singer and ghazal maestro Pankaj Udhas passed away on Monday (February 26) after a prolonged illness. He was undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital and breathed his last at 11 AM today. Singer Anup Jalota who shared a close bond with the late singer, confirmed the news to ABP News and said that he was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer four months back.

Kiran Rao’s directorial venture ‘Laapataa Ladies’ will open the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) Summer Festival. The festival starts from February 29 to March 2.
