Sidhu began his acting career in 2015 with the Punjabi film 'Ramta Jogi', that featured him in the lead role. The film was produced by veteran actor Dharmendra's production house Vijayta Films. He started as a model in his initial days, going on to participate in modelling pageants like 'Kingfisher Model Hunt' where he emerged as the winner and 'Grasim Mr. India', where he bagged the title of 'Grasim Mr. Personality' and 'Grasim Mr. Talented'.

Deep Sidhu was also a lawyer by profession and served as the legal head of Ekta Kapoor's 'Balaji Telefilms' for three-and-a-half years.

Sidhu ventured into politics in 2019 and campaigned for Gurdaspur BJP MP and Bollywood actor Sunny Deol. During the farmers protest, the farmers union blamed Sidhu for instigating riot and hoisting a religious flag on the Red Fort during the 2021 Farmers' Republic Day Parade. In lieu of the charges levied, Sidhu along with gangster-turned-activist Laka Sadhana was arrested on February 9, 2021.
