New Delhi: Bollywood actor John Abraham's commitment to fitness has always been evident. While many know John Abraham for his fitness dedication and impressive physique, not everyone is aware of his hidden obsession with Kerala cuisine. In an interview, the Parsi-Malayalee actor expressed his deep love for traditional foods from Kerala. 


In a video that is now going viral, John excitedly revealed his affection for Kerala food saying, “I love Kerala breakfast the most in the world. I love appams, I love iddiyappam, vellayppam, unniappam. I love puttu and I just love eating puttu.” 


As he reflected on his days on the set of the action thriller film ‘Madras Cafe’ (2013), the actor said he would eat 35 appams for breakfast every day. “I was shooting 'Madras Cafe' in Cochin. Every day in such a big carton there used to be at least 35 appams. In just one sitting, I can eat 30 to 35 appams," John said.


The actor also added, “After that I have to workout really hard.”


He also praised his Parsi mother's cooking abilities, saying, "My mom is Parsi but she makes the best avial in the world."

In the same conversation, John also mentioned that he used to be a non-vegetarian once upon a time.


John Abraham's Fitness Routine


Last year, John Abraham's fitness trainer spoke with GQ India, revealing that the actor works out 3-4 times a week. Celebrity Trainer Vinod Channa elaborated, "These workouts are a mix of weight training, functional training, mobility, agility, speed, and endurance. When a movie is coming up, we train for 3 months to get him ready for the role. If you have seen his movies, he has had to play roles where he has a muscular body as well as ones where he needed to have a lean body."


On the work front, John Abraham was last seen in 'Vedaa'.
