New Delhi: Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are reportedly not on the same page when it comes to 'all being well in heaven'. As per Redditors and several reports, there has been speculating about an impending divorce between Bollywood's power couple. However, Aishwarya has quashed the recent rumours in public appearances by sporting her wedding ring. As speculation remains and confusion among fans sustains,here is a throwback to the time when legendary actor and Aishwarya's father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan praised her resilience at the time of her delivery.
When Aishwarya was to deliver her first-born Aaradhya Bachchan, she is said to have been in severe labour pain that went on for 2-3 hours.
At the time, Big B had expressed his admiration for Aishwarya praising her strength as she endured labour for '2-3 hours' without going for an epidural so that she could have a normal delivery.
When Aaradhya was born, Amitabh Bachchan and his son-actor Abhishek had stepped out of their home, Jalsa, to share the news with the media. Amitabh Bachchan had then praised Aishwarya Rai for her strength during labour, sharing that despite the common practice of epidurals per C-sections, she chose to give natural birth.
As per a Pinkvilla report, Amitabh Bachchan had then said that despite enduring intense labour of 2-3 hours, she chose to have a normal delivery without painkillers and praised her resilience. The superstar qas quoted as saying, "She had to struggle but I commend her that she was in acute labor for a long time, almost 2-3 hours. But she persisted, and said she wanted a normal delivery. She did not use any epidural or painkiller."
During the media interaction, Amitabh Bachchan had also spoken about Aaradhya's resemblance to Aishwarya. He humourously added that the baby's faces everyday but he still believed that Aaradhya had taken after her mother.
