New Delhi: On October 23, actor Akshay Kumar was joined by his wife and co-producer Twinkle Khanna, as well as her mother Dimple Kapadia, at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024 for the premiere of ‘Go Noni Go’. During the interactive Q&A that followed the screening, As part of an engaging Q&A session that followed the screening, Akshay shared his amusing complaints about his wife not letting him watch the film.
Speaking to the panel, Akshay Kumar said, “Hello, it’s my wife’s film. My question is to the producer, ‘When is the next show?’”
"Because I couldn’t watch the film properly because my wife was sitting next to me and she was… baar baar koni maar maar ke kaisi lag rahi hai film? Kaisi lag rahi hai film? Toh main dekh nahi paya hun toh agla show kab hai? Mujhe puri film dekhni hai,” he continued complaining. The crowd laughed at his light-hearted remarks.
“Puch lijiye. Vahin hai meri biwi. Ki kitni koniyan maari hain ki kaisi hai meri film? (You can ask. My wife is there. How many has she elbowed me and asked how is my film?)," Akshay teased even more.

Directed by Sonal Dabral, ‘Go Noni Go’ stars Manav Kaul and Rohan Mehra and is based on the tale ‘Salaam Noni Aapa’ by Twinkle Khanna. Dimple Kapadia plays a key part in the film, which delves into topics of family and relationships. Tanuj Garg, Sameer Nair, and Atul Kasbekar are the co-producers of the film.
