New Delhi: Vicky Kaushal recently discussed working on a project with his wife and actress Katrina Kaif. Both of them had never been on the same screen together before. When asked about the potential of working together in the future, Vicky said that he would be thrilled to work with Katrina but that the pairing had to develop "organically". Vicky acknowledged that their fans are eager to see them in a movie together.
According to statements made by Vicky Kaushal to the news agency PTI, he is aware of the fans' desire to see them in a film together and said that they are waiting for the ideal screenplay to come along. He said, “We would love to see ourselves in a movie together. But it has to happen organically and for the right reasons, not just because we are together, and that there’s a curiosity about watching us in a film together.”
The actor added, "I feel, when you organically fit the bill, in a real sense, that this is a perfect cast and that’s when it should happen. I believe it will happen soon. I hope it happens soon.”
It very evident that Vicky has not completely ruled out the prospect of starring with his wife Katrina.
In December 2021, Vicky and Katrina tied the knot in a small, private ceremony in Rajasthan. The married pair are quite active on social media, where they often reveal peeks of their life outside of acting.
On Friday, 'The Great Indian Family,' Vicky Kaushal's film about a dysfunctional Indian family, opened in cinemas. Vicky Kaushal's next role will be as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the upcoming biopic 'Sam Bahadur'. Meghna Gulzar is in charge of directing this biopic.
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif will next appear with Salman Khan in the upcoming flick 'Tiger 3'.
