New Delhi: Vicky Kaushal has opened up about his marriage to Katrina Kaif. The actor gave some insights into his cross-cultural marriage with Katrina Kaif and also shared that being in the same profession makes them sometimes go on long stretches where they do not spend much time with each other. This Vicky touted to be the biggest 'con' of marrying someone from the film industry.

In an interaction with Instant Bollywood, Vicky opened up about his marriage with Katrina. The 'Sardar Udham' actor shared that Katrina's favourite Punjabi word is 'wadiya'( great). He said that whenever she is asked how she's doing, this is her response.

Vicky also confessed that though as a child he would get irritated at his parents' insistence that he learn Punjabi, however, now he is grateful that he did so.

When asked about the pros and cons of marrying an actor, Vicky shared, "One pro would be that we understand our schedules aren’t nine-to-five, there are no Sundays, there are no weekdays or weekends. So, that understanding is there. The con is that sometimes, you are both shooting for a film and it’s going non-stop, and sometimes a month can pass without us having spent time with each other. Sometimes, I can have day shoots and she can have night shoots, so when I return from work she leaves, and we don’t get any time with each other despite living under the same roof.”

In times of conflict, Vicky is the first to apologise. He shared, "Sometimes I admit when it’s not my mistake also. Drama kisse chahiye yaar, admit karke life simple ho jaati hai (Who needs the drama, accepting just makes life simpler).”

Vicky and Katrina met at a Bollywood party and dated during the pandemic before tying the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in Rajasthan in December 2021.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in 'The Great Indian Family' and Katrina will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan's 'Merry Christmas'.
