Bollywood welcomed a fresh face in January 2025 with Sky Force, featuring the charming and energetic Veer Pahariya in his big-screen debut. While his acting skills and dance moves—especially in the peppy track Rang alongside Sara Ali Khan—caught attention, another aspect that has been widely discussed is his PR strategy.
Many social media users believe that his team is working overtime to project him as the industry’s next ‘national crush.’ Now, a recent viral clip from one of his interviews has once again put Veer in the spotlight.
The Viral Interview Clip
In the circulating video, Veer is asked about Sara Ali Khan’s brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, who is also set to begin his Bollywood journey this year. The interviewer brings up that Ibrahim is being launched by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and questions Veer, saying, "Aapko aisa nahi lag raha Karan Johar aisa purposely kar rahe hain? Unko aisa kaha jaata hai ki woh nepo kid ko hi launch kar rahe hain."
Before Veer could respond, a member of his team interrupted. He turned to them and stated that he was comfortable answering, but was advised not to. Eventually, Veer decided to avoid the topic, politely adding that they could leave the question for another time.
Social Media Reactions
The video has divided the internet. Some netizens see this as another calculated PR move. A social media user commented, "hmmmm well, honestly, this kinda looks made up n pre arranged from his team to get traction after the movie hype until his next venture."
Another wrote, "No idea about his real personality, he is just saying what is being told by the PR team."
However, others defended Veer. A fan questioned, "Why you want to put someone in controversy by asking uncomfortable questions?"
Another user suggested, "I think he was ready to answer but his team refused to let him answer. Many times actors have to refrain from answering certain questions as per the instructions of their teams."
Ibrahim Ali Khan’s Debut
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Ali Khan is gearing up for his Bollywood debut alongside Khushi Kapoor in Nadaaniyan. Backed by Karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment, the film will release on Netflix.
