TV Judge Frank Caprio Reveals His Cancer Diagnosis In A Heartbreaking Video, Asks People To Pray
The 87-year-old judge Frank Caprio from 'Caught in Providence' is getting treatment for pancreatic cancer.
New Delhi: 87-year-old Judge Frank Caprio—renowned for his sensitivity and compassion in the courtroom broke down in a recent heartbreaking video. He broke the news of his pancreatic cancer diagnosis in a social media post. His loved ones and fans were taken aback to hear the devastating news. The judge from Rhode Island asks his fans to pray for him.
"The report was not a good one," Judge Caprio said in a video posted on December 7. Caprio expressed his gratitude for the medical care he was getting and said he was ready to battle.
While he undergoes treatment, he has requested his supporters to keep him in their prayers. He said, "One thing that people ask me is, 'What can I do for you?' First of all, I can't thank all of you enough for your friendship and your kind messages. But I would ask each of you, in your own way, to please pray for me. I am in need of the power of prayer, which I believe, in addition to the medical treatment that I'm receiving, is the most powerful weapon to help me survive this."
In the end, he got emotional and he hid his face in his hands.
He captioned the video, “SAY A PRAYER… Your help will give me the strength to fight this health battle.”

From 1985 to now, Caprio served over the Providence Municipal Court.
The announcement of Judge Caprio's retirement from the court in January 2023 came after 40 years of service. During his time there, his TV program Caught in Providence catapulted him to fame. ‘Caught in Providence’ was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2021.
According to the Daily Mail, two of the judge's sons—Frank and David—were elected as Democratic Party representatives in Rhode Island.
