New Delhi: 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' has finally returned with its much anticipated second season, and the trailer has been officially published. Season two of the hit comedy chat series will premiere on Netflix on September 21, 2024, after the tremendous success of season one. Audiences can get ready for more laughs and star cameos. This time one of the most appealing guests will be Alia Bhatt.
An exciting moment occurs when the trailer shows Alia Bhatt in an episode with Vedang Raina, who also co-stars in ‘Jigra’ and Karan Johar. Fans were taken aback when Alia identified herself as "Alia Bhatt Kapoor" following her marriage to Ranbir Kapoor. This is the first time the actress publicly uses the 'Kapoor' name, even though she is still known as Alia Bhatt and hasn't changed it on social media.
Alia Says She Is 'Alia Bhatt Kapoor'
Alia and Sunil Grover's adored character Gutthi have a comical run-in, as hinted at in the trailer. In one scene, Gutthi brings up Alia's name to tease Ranbir Kapoor. In response, Alia said, "Main hoon Alia Bhatt Kapoor (My name is Alia Bhatt)," with her signature humour.
