New Delhi: Parineeti Chopra's journey in Bollywood has been a testament to her versatility, transitioning seamlessly from acting to singing. As she basks in the success of her latest film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, a surprising video has emerged from her early days. Parineeti can be seen singing for a Doordarshan event. 


An old video from 2004 is now going viral showcasing a 16-year-old Parineeti Chopra participating in a special program for Doordarshan Chandigarh. Dressed in an orange suit, exuding youthful charm with a short haircut, Parineeti, along with a group of children, performs a patriotic song titled ‘Desh Ki Sewa’.

Parineeti is a classically trained singer, who found success in the love ballad 'Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin' from the 2017 film 'Meri Pyaari Bindu'. The song marked her playback singing debut.

Parineeti Chopra was last seen in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’. In the film directed by Imtiaz Ali, Parineeti Chopra portrayed Amarjot Kaur, the wife of Amar Singh Chamkila (played by Diljit Dosanjh). Legendary Punjabi vocalist Amar Singh Chamkila's life is chronicled in the musical biography. The film is now available to stream on Netflix.
