Pop sensation Taylor Swift and tight end Travis Kelce from the Kansas City Chiefs, who have been dating for a while, will soon get engaged. According to a close source to Kelce, the engagement is expected to take place shortly. The football star has reportedly been preparing the proposal for a few days, according to a source.

Taylor Swift is making the most of her time with her boyfriend Kelce while taking a break from her Eras Tour. The Chiefs player is close to putting a ring on Swift, which will quiet rumours about their future together, according to a source close to the player. Kelce's representative denied that there are any formal engagement plans. Rumours have it that the couple is already engaged. 

According to Page Six, Kelce requested permission from Scott Swift, Taylor’s father, before proposing in December after the publication posted an article about his search for the perfect ring.

A Page Six source earlier claimed, “Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it, and Travis has been talking to friends about a ring.”

Rumours claim Taylor and Travis are already engaged

One of the Chief Executives' spouses was overheard telling others in a hear-and-say that Swift and Kelce had already gotten engaged in a hotel room.  It's not clear, though, if she was talking about rumours spreading or if the comment was true.

This August, Taylor Swift will take a break from her long Eras Tour and is scheduled to spend time with Kelce. Swift will resume her tour in October after taking a short hiatus, and she is presently doing shows in Europe. The hugely successful tour will culminate in Vancouver on December 8. On the other hand, for the 2018 NFL season, Kelce has already returned to the team's training camp.
