Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, an actor from the 90s and co-owner of T-Series, has passed away. Tishaa was only 21 years old and was battling cancer.


For her cancer treatment, she was taken from Mumbai to Germany. Tishaa passed away yesterday in a hospital in Germany.


T-Series spokesperson shared, "Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that family’s privacy is respected."

Krishan Kumar Dua is an Indian actor and producer, best known for his role in "Bewafa Sanam" (1995) and for owning T-Series, the largest music production company in India.


Krishan Kumar Dua was born into a Punjabi family. His father, Chandrabhan, was a fruit seller who migrated to Delhi after the partition of India. Krishan is the younger brother of Gulshan Kumar, the founder of Super Cassettes Industries, also known as T-Series. Kumar is married to actress Tanya Singh, the daughter of composer Ajit Singh and the sister of actress Nattasha Singh. The couple has a daughter named Tishaa Kumar.


With his nephew Bhushan Kumar, he has co-produced the films 'Lucky: No Time For Love', 'Ready', 'Darling', 'Airlift' and 'Satyamev Jayate' among others. 


The list also includes blockbusters like 'Bhool Bhulaiyya 2' starring Kartik Aaryan and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal.'
