New Delhi: Swastika Mukherjee is known for her versatile performances on TV and films. The actor recently posted pictures of herself where she went experimental with a bold green lip colour. Swastika shared pictures of the same on her Instagram account. While many appreciated her pictures, one section of the media trolled her and questioned her choice. This did not dissuade Swastika and in fact she schooled such trolls in the most perfect fashion.

On Wednesday, Swastika shared pictures from an auto ride in Mumbai in which she is seen in a green co-ord set that has printed tigers on it. She went with a bold kohl-rimmed eyes look and green lips that matched her outfit. Sharing a bunch of selfies, Swastika wrote, "Because -I am never going to get a Uber ride, they are never available. I love repeating my clothes and I wear till they tear. I have all the colours of the world when it comes to lipsticks and here I start wearing them in my daily life. I love auto rides. I am loving the greys.”

Soon after, her comments feed was flooded with heart emojis with many complimenting her bold choice. However, some people did not like her choice of green lipstick and questioned, "Y this colour of lipstick.” The actor answered, “Y not?”

The same person further said, “@swastikamukherjee13 bcos it doesn't look lovely with the outfit though it's matching," and she wrote back, “And who will decide that? ME. Bcs it’s my face and my lipstick. You can of course not like it but asking why is a little juvenile.”

Another user wrote in Bengali, "Sister I am scared but you are my favourite always.” Swastika replied, “Majhe majhe bhoy pawa bhalo (It's good to get scared sometimes).”

Swastika will be seen in the upcoming Hoichoi web series 'Nikhoj'. The show also stars Tota Roy Choudhary, known for his recent dance performance in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. The series will show Swastika as a cop as she tries to find the person behind her missing daughter in the series in which Tota plays a suspect.

'Nikhoj' will begin streaming on August 11 on Hoichoi.
