Sonam Kapoor on Anil Kapoor
Sonam described the lifestyle of the three Kapoor brothers, Anil, Boney, and Sanjay, at the book launch of Dr. Shiv K. Saran's Own Your Body: A Doctor's Life-saving Tips on Monday. She attributed her father's youth to his heredity, the "Peshawari genes."
“My father is an extreme, he doesn’t drink, smoke or doesn’t do anything. Boney chachu loves the good life, he loves to eat, and occasionally he likes to drink, and Sanjay chachu is a moderate one, in between. But they all are good looking healthy men,” the actor shared.
The 38-year-old also gave the example of her grandfather Surinder Kapoor, a film producer, who, "aside from his white hair," remained the same till his death in 2011.
“Honestly, since I remember my mom started the first personal training gym in Mumbai. This was many many years ago..So it is my mother who has been very very healthy from the very beginning. Very health conscious. My dad would love to indulge sometimes but my mother kind of controls him like a very good Indian wife,” Sonam added.
Anand Ahuja, Sonam's husband, and Harish Ahuja, her father-in-law, also attended the book launch.
Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor has started getting back to work post her long sabbatical after pregnancy. Sonam has been roped in for a few projects that are in the pipeline.

That's a beloved character but U feel a lot of girls might have read the book. I feel a lot of girls, maybe of out generation know( about the book), but I don't think the younger generation knows the character as much. So, we have the advantage of that."
