While Sonam Bajwa is a prominent name in the Punjabi film industry, not many know that the 'Kudi Haryane Val Di' actress once aspired to win the Miss India crown and participated in the beauty pageant in 2012. A throwback video of the actress was recently shared by an Instagram page where a 21-year-old Sonam can be seen talking about her goal to win the prestigious Miss India crown.


In the video, Sonam introduces herself and shares that she likes travelling and dancing. She then goes on to say that she wishes to win the title on the international level as well and make her country proud.

Sonam Bajwa made her acting debut with the Punjabi film 'Best Of Luck' in 2013. The film, which also starred Gippy Grewal and Jazzy B, was a commercial success and established Bajwa as a promising newcomer in Punjabi cinema.
