The couple got married on June 23 in a civil ceremony at home, followed by a reception at Bastian with their friends and the film industry. In a joint message accompanying the video, Sonakshi and Zaheer wrote, “Family, friends, love, friendship, laughter, silly comments, kids running around, happy tears, warm hugs, excitement, bloopers, screeches, fun, joy, anticipation, nerves, emotions and above all just pure happiness this was our chaotic little Shaadi ka ghar… and it was PERFECT… it was US ❤️”
The video features several delightful moments, including a humorous rendition of "Sona Kitna Sona Hai" from Hero No 1 by Sonakshi’s friends, who replaced the word ‘hero’ with ‘jiju’, prompting laughter as Zaheer signed their marriage certificate. Another memorable moment was when Siddharth playfully said, “Ab sab log ek saath, khamosh. (Now all of us together, silent)” making Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, smile at the reference to his iconic dialogue.

While sharing the photos from their big day the couple wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife.”
