New Delhi: One of the most beloved couples, Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya, are getting ready for their highly anticipated wedding on December 4. The couple has chosen an extravagant, culturally rich ceremony that reflects their heritage through Telugu Brahmin customs.
The couple's inner circle has revealed that the wedding rituals, which highlight the depth of Telugu Brahmin tradition, would last an astounding eight hours. In honour of their special day, Sobhita and Chaitanya are planning a traditional, culturally intensive celebration.
As per Mid Day, the source shared, “In order to honour the cultural aspects and give respect and attention to all the beautiful details of a Telugu wedding they are going all out with an over 8 hour traditional hard-core old school wedding.”
Meanwhile, their wedding invitation picture quickly became popular online. Their family members' names and the event's date were included on the invitation.
Naga Chaitanya on His Wedding With Sobhita
Naga Chaitanya expressed his enthusiasm in an interview with The Times of India. He said, “There is definitely a lot of excitement, butterflies… not much (smiles). Butterflies are only because of the planning and the logistics that are involved on those days, like bringing the guest list together and putting the other details of the wedding together."
The ceremony will take place at Annapurna Studios, a location very meaningful to Naga Chaitanya. The choice to have the wedding in front of my grandfather's monument was a deliberate one, he said, to honour his memory and get his permission. "Our families are excited to come together & celebrate,” he said.
After dating for more than two years, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita got engaged in August of this year.
