Prior to this, Shamita shared another video featuring a thali from Uttarakhand. Seated comfortably with a lavish spread in front of her, she expressed her enthusiasm for local flavors. “My favorite part of a trip is trying local cuisine. I’m in Dehradun, and the chef has prepared this delicious thali with so much care,” she said.
The Uttarakhand thali included a variety of dishes, such as jakhiya rice, hemp paneer, kumaoni raita, red rice kheer, and ragi rotis. Shamita described the meal as both simple and flavorful, noting, “I don’t eat mutton, but I’m open to trying the gravy. The food is light, not overly oily or spicy, yet full of flavor.” She also expressed her gratitude to Chef Kadir for the wonderful preparation.
Shamita, who gained fame with her debut in the romantic drama Mohabbatein, is the sister of fellow actress Shilpa Shetty. She participated in Bigg Boss 15, finishing in fourth place.
