New Delhi: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's security has been increased by the Maharashtra government after the actor received death threats following the success of his films including the recently released 'Jawan.' Shah Rukh will now be given Y+ security by the government.


In Y+, 6 personal security officers and 5 weapons will be with Shahrukh Khan for 24 hours. Police have received intelligence that the actor's life is in danger. Earlier, only 2 policemen were there for his security.


Recently, after the hit of his films 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan', Shah Rukh is on the radar of underworld and gangsters..


As per news agency ANI, Shah Rukh Khan had given a written complaint to the state government that he had been receiving death threat calls after the films 'Pathan' and 'Jawan'.: Maharashtra Police


 






Earlier, another superstar, Salman Khan had received death threats by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, following which his security was also increased.


On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has been riding high on the success of his recently released blockbuster drama 'Jawan', that shattered all box office records by becoming the fastest Hindi film to enter the Rs 1000 crore club, worldwide.
