Shah Rukh Khan has been hitting the headlines for his eye surgery for which he travelled to the US, recently. However, the actor dispelled these rumours when he was spotted in Mumbai on Wednesday night, attending a birthday celebration for his 'Pathaan' director Siddharth Anand at a restaurant in Bandra.

A paparazzo account on Instagram shared a video of Shah Rukh arriving at the restaurant through a backdoor, accompanied by heavy security and his manager Pooja Dadlani. He was dressed in a black t-shirt, matching jacket, and blue jeans, with his hair tied back in a ponytail and wearing dark sunglasses. Later, he was seen leaving the restaurant in the same outfit, carrying his jacket in hand as he got into his white SUV and drove off.

Earlier on Wednesday, Shah Rukh also attended a BCCI meeting with Indian Premier League stakeholders. As the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, he reportedly had a heated argument with Ness Wadia, co-owner of Punjab Kings XI and former boyfriend of Shah Rukh's 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' and 'Veer-Zaara' co-star Preity Zinta.

Shah Rukh and his family had recently been in London for several weeks, working on pre-production for his upcoming film 'King,' where he will star alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. They returned to Mumbai after learning that Farah Khan, a longtime collaborator and friend of Shah Rukh, had lost her mother. Shah Rukh and his family visited Farah's residence, where he was seen comforting her.

'King,' directed by Sujoy Ghosh, is co-produced by Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures. The film will also feature Abhishek Bachchan as the main antagonist.
