Salman has previously chosen to wear his hair in this style. In 'Tere Naam' and 'Sultan', he appeared bald. On Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2021, Salman had mentioned about going bald for his film.

He had stated, "Not many people know but there's a very interesting story behind my look in Tere Naam," as reported by Indian Express. When Sunil Manchanda, Tere Naam's producer and a dear friend of mine, approached me when I was filming for another movie, he told me that I would need to become bald in order to fit my character. Due to the fact that I was working on a film at the time, I wasn't really sure."

"I still recall that the day I had a fever, the director of the other movie kept nagging me to come to the shoot. Out of annoyance, I went to the washroom and shaved my head. The following day, I phoned Sunil ji and informed him that I had shaved my hair and was ready to sign up Tere Naam."

On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in 'Tiger 3' also starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The movie will be released this Diwali in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
