New Delhi: Speculation continues to mount around Ranbir Kapoor's involvement in the highly anticipated film ‘Ramayana,’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari. While no official announcements have been made regarding his role, rumours persist that the actor is preparing to portray Lord Ram. Recent viral photos suggest that Ranbir is not only undergoing rigorous physical training but has also embarked on archery lessons, fuelling anticipation among his fans.
Shared by a fan page named Khushali_RK, the images capture Ranbir Kapoor alongside an archery coach in his home setting, clad in casual attire. Ranbir poses with the archery instructor in one of the shots, while another shot shows arrows on a table.

A recent viral picture of Ranbir Kapoor during an intense training session has further stoked excitement surrounding his involvement in the film. Shared by his fitness trainer on Instagram, the image captures Ranbir donned gym attire, executing a headstand with evident determination and focus.

According to an earlier Pinkvilla report, Nitesh Tiwari and the ‘Ramayana’ crew are set to make the formal announcement about the epic story in April. It is reported that the film will be announced on April 17, 2024 - on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami.
About ‘Ramayana’
Ranbir Kapoor will portray the titular character, Lord Ram, in the ‘Ramayana’. The part of Sita has been cast for Sai Pallavi. While Sunny Deol is supposedly in talks to portray Hanuman, KGF actor Yash is set to play Ravana. There have been rumours that Vijay Sethupathi and Bobby Deol are both being considered for the parts of Vibhashana and Kumbhakarna, respectively. Amitabh Bachchan's casting as King Dashrath in the film has reportedly been finalised. However, there is no formal word on this.
