According to a report by News18, the wedding festivities commenced on March 20, with the couple steadfast in their desire to keep the ceremony away from the media spotlight. Taapsee and Mathias deliberately kept their wedding guest list small, with only close friends and select Bollywood personalities in attendance.

"The wedding ceremony took place in Udaipur and was an extremely intimate affair. The pre-wedding celebrations commenced on March 20. Taapsee and Mathias were adamant about maintaining privacy and avoiding media attention on their special day. Both of them are known for their reserved and private nature, and they were keen to keep it that way,” News18 quoted its source as saying.

News18 stated, "Taapsee’s Dobaaraa and Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati graced the occasion, alongside Anurag Kashyap, who shares a close bond with Taapsee and has directed her in films like Manmarziyaan and Dobaara, and produced Saand Ki Aankh. Both flew to Udaipur for the event."

Their romance blossomed from a chance encounter at the Indian Badminton League in 2013, evolving into a strong bond over the years. Taapsee once revealed in an interview that their initial connection began on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) before they met in person.

Mathias Boe, hailing from Denmark, is a former professional badminton player with an illustrious career, including a silver medal in the 2012 London Olympics and the 2013 World Championships.

On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu was last seen in the film Dunki alongside Shah Rukh Khan, which garnered significant success at the box office and is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
