Actor Ranbir Kapoor made a stylish appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah. Videos circulating on social media show Ranbir walking the red carpet, exuding charm as he posed for photographers. A standout moment from the event was his interaction with actor-director Olivia Wilde. The duo was seen exchanging pleasantries before posing for the cameras.
For the occasion, Ranbir opted for a traditional Indian red bandhgala jacket paired with black trousers. Olivia Wilde, on the other hand, stunned in a graceful white gown.
Earlier this week, Ranbir also attended the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, where he paid tribute to his legendary grandfather, Raj Kapoor. As part of Raj Kapoor’s centenary celebrations in 2024, Ranbir shared heartfelt stories and cherished memories about the iconic filmmaker.

On the professional front, Ranbir will be seen in the magnum opus, Ramayan, directed by Nitish Tiwari of Dangal fame. In this ambitious adaptation of the Indian epic, Ranbir will portray Lord Ram, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The ensemble cast also includes Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.
The film, produced by Namit Malhotra, is set to be released in two parts. The first installment is slated for a Diwali 2025 release, with the second following in 2026.
Speaking about the project in an interview with Deadline, Ranbir described Ramayan as "India's greatest story."
"I am currently working on a film called Ramayan, which is India's greatest story. It's being produced by Namit Malhotra...It's got artists, creators, and different crew members from all around the world. It's made over two parts. It's the story of Lord Ram and Ravan, and it's India's greatest story," Ranbir shared.
He further expressed his excitement about bringing this timeless tale to modern audiences: “And to say it to this new generation with the kind of technology that we have, it's a very exciting and gratifying opportunity for me as an actor, especially to play the part of Lord Ram."
