New Delhi: Pooja Gor, the celebrated actor renowned for her iconic role as Pratigya in the eponymous television serial, talked about transformation of the entertainment industry over the years, transitioning across various entertainment mediums, her recent project on OTT and a lot more in an exclusive interaction with ABP Live.


Talking about transitioning across various entertainment mediums, Pooja expressed her enthusiasm for the journey. She firmly believes that actors don't need to drastically change their methods when working in different mediums. "See, the transition was actually quite thrilling. And as a matter, I don't think you need to change your methods or the way it's not like for one medium, you act a certain way, but for the other medium, you don't act that way or you find some other method. No, I think every actor has their own persona and style that they bring, and then they mould according to whatever story they have been given in whatever medium they have been offered. So it was a great ride for me, great experience exploring different mediums."


When asked about the transformation of the entertainment industry over the years, Pooja refrained from offering an in-depth commentary. Her focus has shifted from following industry trends after her stint in 'Pratigya.' She admitted that she lacks the technical understanding of why shows are created the way they are, underlining that her perspective might not be comprehensive.


In her recent project 'Guns and Gulabs,' Pooja Gor had the opportunity to collaborate with an ensemble cast of talented co-stars including Dulquer Salman, Rajkummar Rao, Gulshan Devaiah and Shreya Dhanwanthary. She expressed her admiration for her colleagues, acknowledging their exceptional talent and professionalism.


Pooja also touched on the evolving preferences of audiences in different regions of India. She noted that each medium caters to specific tastes and sensibilities.


Pooja has recently collaborated with the audio series platform Pocket FM. Pooja Gor has collaborated for a special promo shoot for audio series Insta Millionaire, Devil Se Shaadi, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To and Secret Ameerzada.


The actor says that she was motivated for the collaboration by her enduring passion for storytelling. "I've always been a fan of storytelling and audio series provides a unique platform for engaging in different kinds of narratives. And when Pocket FM approached me with stories like the diversity of each story, I was captivated by it. Each of these stories have their own charm and their genre is also different. One is a mystery, one is love story, one is a comedy, one is so it was a very exciting opportunity for me as an actor and audience as well."


She also talked about the unique aspect of audio series and said that they provide a more immersive and personalized experience for the listeners. "The power of imagination plays a significant role, as each listener visualizes the story in their unique way.
