Parineeti-Raghav Wedding Festivities Begin: Sufi Night Attended By Family & Close Friends In Delhi

New Delhi: Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are all set to tie the knot in Udaipur over the weekend. As the pre-wedding rituals begin, guests have begun arriving at Kapurthala House in New Delhi for the celebrations. Parineeti's parents Pawan and Reena, Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth Chopra were all seen at the venue.
The venue was decked up with white lights and gave a vibrant atmosphere. As per an ETimes report, Sufi night gala took place on the night of Sep 20as the countdown for the Raghav-Parineeti wedding begins.
Earlier on Wednesday, the couple’s picture from the ardaas ceremony and kirtan went viral at a Delhi gurudwara.
On Tuesday, a 'paath' was also organised at Chadha's residence.
As per an ETimes report, Fashion Design Council of India Chairman Sunil Sethi told the paparazzi, " Har shaadi ke tyohaar mein celebrations bahut jyada jaruri hai. Parineeti and Raghav maje a beautiful couple. It's the pride of Delhi and they are the most 'made for each other' couple."
He also shared that Raghav as he did during the engagement, was wearing an outfit by his fashion designer maternal uncle Pawan Sachdeva at the paath ceremony.
Meanwhile, Parineeti-Raghav will be having a pearl white Indian wedding at the Leela Palace in Udaipur. The jaimala will take place at 3:30 PM, pheras at 4:00 PM and vidai at 6:30 PM.
The festivities will start from Sept 23 with Parineeti's 'choora' ceremony at 10 AM in the hotel's Maharaja suite.
The 'baarat' will then move from Taj Lake Palace at 2:00 PM. The reception, with the theme of 'A Night of Amore' will take place at 8:30 PM at Thee leela Palace Courtyard overlooking Lake Pichola.
A separate wedding reception will take place in Chandigarh on Sep 30 which is likely to be attended by the likes of close friends and family. For those unaware, Parineeti hails from Ambala Cantt, Haryana while Raghav also has family in Punjab.
