Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha Pre-Wedding Celebrations Begin: Both Families To Have A Friendly Cricket Match In Delhi

New Delhi: Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are all set to get married this month. The power couple will tie the knot in Rajasthan in a few days and it seems that the grand Punjabi wedding extravaganza has already begun in Delhi. Now, as per new reports, the 'Kesari' actor and the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) leader will kick start their wedding celebrations with a cricket match in Delhi. The Chopras and Chadhas will have a friendly match in Delhi before they proceed to Udaipur for wedding festivities.

As per an ETimes report, a source close to the development was quoted as saying, "There are a lot of fun activities planned for the guests, activities planned for the guests, and one of them is a cricket match. So, it will be really exciting as it will be a Chopras versus Chadhas cricket match. Their friends are also going to join in the fun activity."

On Sunday, Sep 17, AAP leader was at the Delhi Airport to receive his fiance Parineeti Chopra. The two twinned in blue shirts. As per several reports, the two and their respective families are in Delhi for the Sikh pre-wedding functions, which include an ardaas and kirtan.

A Hindustan Times report also quoted another source as saying,"The wedding festivities are set to start in Delhi on September 17 with ardaas and shabad kirtan, which will be followed with some intimate get-togethers for the close family members. Following which the whole family along with the bride and groom will head to Udaipur for the grand wedding.”

Despite the attempts at secrecy, Parineeti and Raghav's wedding reception card and later the wedding invite itself went viral. As per the card, the couple will tie the knot in the day at The Leela Palace in Udaipur on September 24. It will also be followed by a reception.

A separate reception will also take place at the Taj in Chandigarh.

Parineeti and Raghav got engaged on May 13 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi. The two have never publicly spoken about their relationship but have apparently known each other for several years before they officially began dating.

In the events leading to their engagement, the two were seen together on several occasions, from being spotted at Delhi and Mumbai airports to watching an IPL match in Mohali.
