What is Sanvikaa’s Real Name?

Sanvikaa’s real name is Pooja Singh and according to the actress, it was common.

She said, “Pooja Singh is a very common name. If you see in real life, even in school, if you call Pooja, five people will turn around and see. It is that common. And, there was already an actress by the name of Pooja Singh who had done TV. she had a lot of work history, so people were getting confused.

She continued, “When season one was released, all the big pages, in fact, Filmfare also tagged that Pooja Singh in Wikipedia. There was like a lot of confusion, so I thought that to avoid that confusion it's better to have a stage name.”

How did Sanvikaa find a stage name?

She shared, “I tried hard to decide what name to keep. What should I name myself? I searched for good names and then finally I found one name and then I did a poll with my friends and family. In the poll, there was one Aaradhya, I guess Aaradhya or something like Aaradhya, and there was one Sanvikaa.”

She concluded, “On the Aadhar card, it is still Pooja Singh because it takes a lot of time to change all these things, and still I am somehow very connected to my old name Pooja. I have met new people and they know me as Saanvika. Pooja is like very personal.”

Aside from that, the actress said that her name changed from Pooja Singh in the credits of ‘Panchayat Season 1’ to Sanvikaa beginning with Season 2.
