Niharika Konidela Sparks Divorce Rumours As She Attends Varun-Lavanya's Engagement Without Hubby Chaitanya

Fans are speculating that Niharika and Chaitanya are no longer together after seeing her new post on Instagram.

New Delhi: Rumours that Tollywood actor Niharika Konidela is divorcing her husband, Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, have made headlines. Niharika Konidela and Chaitanya were married in 2020, but recent media stories have hinted at issues with their marriage. Fans also noticed the same in Niharika's recent Instagram post. She posted two photos from her brother Varun Tej's engagement with Lavanya Tripathi. Fans noticed that Chaitanya was missing in the pictures. Chaitanya's absence at Varun Tej's engagement fueled rumours that the couple had already divorced. 

Niharika’s older brother Varun Tej got engaged on June 9 with actress Lavanya Tripathi in an intimate ceremony. The engagement party was small with just immediate family members of the happy couple. 

Niharika took to Instagram and sent warm wishes to the pair. She wrote, “Been waiting for this day foreverrrr now! @varunkonidela7 Welcome to the family, Vadina @itsmelavanya."

What stood out, however, was that Niharika’s husband Chaitanya didn't show up to the engagement party. While many sent their best wishes for the happy couple, others wondered where Chaitanya Jonnalagadda was. People asked, "Where is Chay?, Where is your husband Nihaa?" and "Where is Baba?"

Niharika Konidela, for the uninitiated, fueled divorce speculations last month when she unfollowed her spouse Chaitanya on Instagram and removed their wedding images.

On the work front, ‘Dead Pixels’, Niharika's new show, is a Telugu adaptation of the original British version. The story follows three best friends as their obsession with the online game Kingdom Scrolls impacts both their personal and professional lives.

Meanwhile, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s wedding is expected to take place towards the end of the year.
