New Delhi: Pakistani actor Mahira Khan married businessman Salim Karim in a dreamy wedding ceremony on Tuesday. While several pictures and video clips have been doing the rounds on the internet, Mahira has finally shared the first official photo from the wedding. In a dreamy picture with a sun-kissed backdrop amidst the mountains, we see Mahira and Salim in a close embrace in her wedding veil. Mahira also shared a small clip from the wedding ceremony.

In the video, we see Mahira's son walk her to the aisle. The wedding happened in a resort amid mountains. As the two embrace, we see many break into tears and the couple also embrace each other in tears.

Salim and Mahira reportedly met in 2017 during the production of a TV show, several reports suggested. Salim Karim is an entreprenuer and CEO of a startup called Simpaisa, which lets people make payments through their SIM cards directly, a report by Samaa said. Mahira Khan got engaged to Salim Karim in 2019 in Turkey in a private ceremony which was attended by close friends and family.
Salim Karim is also a professional DJ besides being a businessman.
Mahira was previously married to Ali Askari. The two are parents to a boy names Azlam, who was born in 2009.
