New Delhi: Kareena Kapoor sat across a table of versatile actors in Netflix India's Actors Roundtable. During the conversation, Kareena Kapoor revealed what she'd tell her younger self. The 'Jaane Jaan' actor shared that she would tell herself that she would go on to marry her sister's co-star and have two kids with them. Kareena Kapoor's older sister Karisma Kapoor has co-starred with Saif Ali Khan in a few films. Kareena also spoke about her rather steamy sex scenes in the film ‘Kurbaan’.
When Roundtable host Rajeev Masand asked Kareena Kapoor what she would tell her younger self when she was just starting out, she said, "I wish someone told me that you're going to marry your sister's co-star and have children with him.”
Everyone else at the table cracked up at Kareena's response.
Sidharth Malhotra, on the other hand, jokingly remarked that Kareena would tell her younger self, "Main apni favourite hoon, favourite thi, aur favourite rahungi,” referring to Kareena's iconic dialogue from Imtiaz Ali's blockbuster rom com 'Jab We Met'.
When Sidharth asked Kareena about her steamy sex scene with Saif Ali Khan in Rensil D'Silva's 2009 crime thriller Kurbaan, Kareena with her hearty laugh said, "But we were already dating. We were auditioning. So that worked out well.” In response, Kajol joked that it was a “private audition” for the couple.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor started dating in 2007 on the sets of Vijay Krishna Acharya's 2008 crime drama 'Tashan'. The two then starred opposite each other in 'Kurbaan' and Sriram Raghavan's 2012 spy thriller 'Agent Vinod'.
The two tied the knot the same year and now are parents to two boys: Taimur and Jehangir.
Taimur was born in 2016 and Jehangir Ali Khan was born in 2021.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor will next be seen in 'The Buckingham Murders', 'The Crew', and 'Singham Again'.
