New Delhi: The first episode of 'Koffee With Karan Season 8' with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh was all over the internet for both wrong and right reasons. While the couple’s fans were more than delighted to know all the details about their love story and watch their wedding videos, many trolled Deepika for saying that they were seeing other people while dating.

Recently Karan Johar did a live stream on Instagram and had a quick chat with fans. During the chat, Karan said he is aware of all the trolls talking about the episode and attacking the couple. “Do what you need to do because no one’s looking,” Karan said. He then added that no one is hearing them.

“Trolling gets you nowhere. You are landing nowhere,” Karan said, taking a direct shot at trolls.

He also added that while he is taking constructive criticism from social media users, is making the necessary changes to the upcoming episodes, he turned a deaf ear to trolls.

For the unversed, in the first episode of the eight season of Koffee With Karan, Deepika said that they were seeing other people also while dating. “I didn't want to be in a relationship for a long time because I was coming out of a bad relationship. I was going through a phase where I said, ‘I just don’t want to be attached; I don’t want to be committed’. And then he came along. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other. Until her proposed to me, there was no commitment as such."

Apart from this, Ranveer was also trolled for "repurposing" his story of how he met Anushka Sharma, which he told on a 2011 episode of the popular talk show, for Deepika.

For his meeting with both Anushka and Deepika, Ranveer spoke of "huge doors" that opened to let the wind swoop in as he saw Anushka and Deepika in each of the instances.

Meanwhile, the second episode of the show will feature Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol as guests.
