Kangana Ranaut Alleges Political Motive Behind Slap Incident At Chandigarh Airport, Calls It 'Signature Khalistani Style'
Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram to accuse CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur of acting politically.
New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut, an actress and BJP member who won the Lok Sabha seat for Mandi in Himachal Pradesh has accused a CISF policeman of assaulting her at Chandigarh International Airport. In the days leading up to his swearing-in, the actor-turned-politician travelled from Chandigarh to Delhi to pick up her Parliament ID cards and CGHS card. Kangana was allegedly slapped by policeman Kulwinder Kaur on Thursday (June 6). In a video that went viral, Kangana discussed the assault and how it may be linked to terrorism in Punjab.
On Friday, Kangana shared two Instagram posts in which she described the circumstances surrounding the attack. According to Kangana, it was a ‘Khalistani’ act.
The actress wrote, “This makes sense to me, she strategically waited for me to cross her and in a signature Khalistani style quietly came from behind and hit my face without saying a word when I asked why she did that, she looked away and started to speak in to the phone cameras focused at her (can be seen in her videos) hogging sudden public attention, farmers laws have been repealed and they don't concern anyone anymore probably this was her way of joining Khalistani bandwagon which is getting major political seats in Punjab.”
Kangana Ranaut Draws Parallels to Indira Gandhi's Assassination
Kangana, who is set to portray former PM Indira Gandhi in her upcoming film ‘Emergency’, drew comparisons between her slap incident and the assassination of Indira Gandhi by her bodyguards.

Kangana has not only acted in ‘Emergency’ but also directed and produced it. The film's release, initially scheduled for June, was postponed following Kangana's active involvement in politics.
