New Delhi: Juhi Chawla has closely witnessed Shah Rukh Khan's incredible rise to stardom. The two actors not only co-own the Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but have also shared the screen in numerous films during the 1990s and early 2000s.

Juhi Chawla talks about Shah Rukh Khan

Recently, Juhi shared an interesting anecdote about Shah Rukh's early career.

Speaking at an event organized by the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Juhi recounted, “I remember Shah Rukh in those days didn't have a home in Mumbai. He would come from Delhi, his hometown. I don't know where he stayed. He used to have tea with the film crew, eat with them, and blended in seamlessly. He was also working 2-3 shifts at that time. He was doing 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman' (1992) with me, 'Dil Aashna Hai' (1992), and another film with Divya Bharti, 'Deewana' (1992). He was very driven.”

She continued, “He had a black Gypsy, but one day it was taken away because he couldn't pay the EMI or something. He came to our set very dejected. I told him, 'Don’t worry, you'll have many more cars one day.' And he still remembers that. Because it's true. Look at him today.”

About SRK

Today, Shah Rukh owns a collection of luxury cars and resides in the palatial, sea-facing bungalow, Mannat, in Bandra, Mumbai. Interestingly, the plot of Mannat appears in the background of another Shah Rukh-Juhi film, 'Yes Boss' (1997), in the song "Chaand Taare."

Nair's 'One 2 Ka 4' (2001). They co-founded the production house Dreamz Unlimited in the early 2000s with Aziz Mirza. However, Shah Rukh later established his own studio, Red Chillies Entertainment.

Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in the film 'King'. Meanwhile, Juhi Chawla was last seen in 'The Railway Men'.
