New Delhi: Ira Khan, the daughter of Reena Dutta and Aamir Khan, is all set to get married to boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on January 3. The pre-wedding festivities have begun with the haldi ceremony being held today. In a paparazzi shared video, Aamir Khan's ex wife Kiran Rao can be seen visiting the groom Nupur Shikhare's house in a traditional Maharashtrian attire.

At the parents' homes, preparations have started ahead of the D-day. Several images from Aamir and Reena's Mumbai homes decorated with lights and decorations have appeared online.

Aamir's home has two storeys that are exquisitely decked out with fairy lights in a video. The home of his previous wife, Reena, was also decorated with lights and flowers as the families gear up for the pre-wedding celebrations.

Ira has been posting pictures to her Instagram account from her pre-wedding rituals. They had performed a Maharashtrian Kelvan ritual earlier. Both her family and friends were present. All of the attendees, including Aamir's ex-wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad Rao Khan, were shown having supper with other people in a video that she shared. However, Aamir was not seen.

Earlier in the year, Ira and fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare got engaged. In September, Nupur got down on one knee at a sports event and asked Ira to marry him with a ring in hand. They later had an engagement ceremony in Mumbai. The couple is said to be hosting a lavish celebration in the city following their private ceremony on January 3. Several Bollywood celebs are expected to attend the event, which is expected to happen after January 10 according to a report from India Today.
