Ibrahim Ali Khan's debut 'Nadaaniyan' co-starring Khushi Kapoor did not perform well. The film, which was released on Netflix, has been trolled massively. Social media users have criticised Ibrahim and Khushi's acting skills, the film's screenplay including its dialogue. However, despite the negative criticism, Ibrahim is not letting the noise affect him. Sara Ali Khan's brother recently shared a screenshot of the film's IMDb Rating for the film on his official social media handle.

Re-sharing a story of a netizen, Ibrahim reposted the dismal IMDb rating for the film. The screenshot showed a 4.5/10 IMDb rating and the percentage of those who had given the rating between 6-10. However, not all ratings were part of the netizens' screenshot.
A user @ibrahimsishq posted a screenshot of the IMDb ratings, and wrote “almost 75% gave it 10 stars on IMDB”.

Ibrahim Ali Khan Re-Shares Post Of Nadaaniyan's Dismal IMDb Rating; Fans Wonder Why

Ibrahim Ali Khan reshares post

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's son rep-posted the story on Instagram. While the post is no longer available, the original story can be seen in the highlights of the fan page, under the title 'Ibrahim noticed'.

The screenshot was also shared on Reddit by some users, who were wondering why Ibrahim is re-posting the poor rating of his debut film. "If 75% gave it 10, how is the rating 4.5?,” one user wondered, while another user wrote, “How did 4.5 become a high rating on that app?”

Interestingly, as per the facts stated, if 'Nadaaniyan' has a 10/10 rating, then why does the film show a mere 4.8 on IMDb. It is to be seen that 77.9% of users gave the title a 10/10 on IMDb, but the website uses an algorithm to detect unusual voting activity, and if detected, an alternative weighting calculation is applied to maintain the system's reliability.

IMDb uses weighted vote averages instead of raw data averages for its ratings. While the platform accepts and considers all user votes, each vote does not carry the same impact (or 'weight') on the final rating.
