Himayat Ali Mirza, known as a socialist and philanthropist highlights the pressing issues that need to be taken care of. Himayat, on behalf of the common people, has again raised his voice at regular intervals for noble causes like preserving India’s rich heritage, promoting greenery, lack of healthcare facilities, poverty, reducing pollution, increasing unemployment and many others. Through his efforts he strives continuously towards making the world a better & safe place through his actions.

With a desire to help people out of his conscience Himayat established a non-governmental organization named HM FOUNDATION in February, 2022 for helping people in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. The motto of the foundation is to help people struggling with medical needs and necessities for sustaining life. He insists that people should help other peoples in need in any possible way as he believes that even small contributions from every person can make a big difference.

Himayat contributes his part through HM Foundation and several other organizations including UNICEF, Help Age India, the American Cancer Society, Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps as they all address major societal problems. Himayat, while addressing unemployment, suggests supporting local businesses, promoting vocational training, and fostering entrepreneurship to create job opportunities domestically. At the same time combating poverty necessitates community efforts in providing education, financial support, and sustainable livelihood initiatives to uplift those in need.

Environmental issues like pollution and climate change demand individual responsibility in reducing carbon footprints through actions like using public transport, practicing waste management, and supporting renewable energy. The healthcare sector requires societal advocacy for increased funding, better infrastructure, and support for local healthcare facilities. Each of these areas benefits from collective efforts aimed at fostering a more sustainable and inclusive society.

In recent times, the abandonment of elderly parents by their children has become alarmingly common, with many elderly left helpless and uncared for. This issue underscores the urgent need for social awareness, particularly among children, to honor and care for the parents who once nurtured them. Simple gestures like celebrating Father's Day and Mother's Day are insufficient to address this problem. Our founder, who has personally experienced this neglect, is dedicated to creating a foundation that advocates for the elderly, ensuring they are not forgotten. Himayat firmly believes to make a great impact on the lives of affected people in the year 2024-2025. The foundation aims to recruit 1,000 volunteers to provide companionship and emotional support to the elderly, with all expenses covered by the HM FOUNDATION. Through raising awareness and encouraging active participation, we strive to foster a society where elderly parents are valued and cherished.

Himayat believes that through acts of compassion and unity, we can forge a path towards a future where kindness and understanding prevails, inspiring positive change for generations to come.
