Taha Shah Badussha Calls 'Situationship' A Silly Concept, Says 'I'm Arranged Marriage Kind Of A Person'
In a recent interview, Taha Shah Badussha shared his thoughts on the current relationship trends.
New Delhi: The historical drama series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' made Taha Shah Badussha a household name. The actor, who portrayed Tajdar, recently talked about his thoughts on marriage. Taha Shah Badussha also shared his view on the state of current relationships and the idea of a "situationship."
In an interview with Hauterrfly, Taha Shah Badussha was asked about his thoughts on the current relationship trends and the actor replied, “Bhai main nahi samajhta ye sab (I do not understand these).”
The actor spoke about his recent discovery of a new notion called situationship. He said, "I guess, I'm not 100% clear to be very honest but it's a situation that is just happening. It's so silly." The actor also mentioned that he can’t do live-in relationships.
Taha Shah Badussha said that he prefers the conventional practice of arranged marriage. He explained, “Marriage is a very long-term thing for me. I think I'm more of an arranged marriage person.”

Taha also highlighted the importance of family’s approval for marriage, stating, "It is very simple, marriage is not between two people but between two families... if there is a certain [reason] and my family says no then we will have to walk away."
Earlier, Taha Shah Badussha admitted to being an "extremist" when it comes to romantic relationships. He told ETimes, "I've always been a man who would give his soul to the girl he falls for. When I fall in love, I’m a ten. But let me also tell you this that it’s very difficult to find love. Having said that, when love hits me – and it has hit me a few times – I’ve gone all out. I’m an extremist in that sense."

The series, which is now available on Netflix, has already promised a sequel, which will supposedly have even more mystery and conflict.
The stellar ensemble cast of ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ includes Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Richa Chadha, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Manisha Koirala. Farida Jalal, Taha Shah, Shekhar Suman, Adhyayan Suman, and Fardeen Khan are also cast in significant parts.
