He added that it was also great to see top charts everywhere featuring a song or two of popular Punjabi artists such as AP Dhillon, Karan Aujla and Diljit Dosanjh.

The veteran artist also spoke about the recent shoe-flinging incident that took place at ‘Tauba Tauba’ fame singer Karan Aujla’s London concert in September.

Maan said, “Saying that he was upset about the show-flinging incident at Aujla's London concert, Maan said, "Aisa nahi hona chahiye, audience honi chahye, mahual ban na chahiye, khushi honi chahiye, apne kalakaro ka nazdeek hone ka mauka milta hai, toh us nazdeeki ko itna khoobsurat bana do yar ki kalakar yad rakhe apko. Aap loge ke lie kitni rateein nyochawar krte hai voh log, apni zindagi nyochawar krke yaha tak oahunche hote hai, aur aap unko chapal se joote se, aise jab hota hai na, to kalakar ka man tut jata tha. Kalakar ek bar jo tut jata hai na, kyunki sensitive boht hota hai (It shouldn’t be like this; there should be an audience, a vibrant atmosphere, and happiness. When you get a chance to be close to your artists, make that closeness so beautiful that they remember you. These artists sacrifice so much for you; they reach this point by giving their lives. When you treat them poorly, it breaks their spirit. An artist is very sensitive, and once they are hurt, it’s hard for them to recover)."

He added that though the audience creates a very good environment, there are times when such unfortunate incidents come to light.

Several pictures and videos of the singer at the O2 arena in London went viral on social media where Aujla is seen getting back at the person saying, "Hold on! Who was that, I f*****g telling you to come up on the stage. Let’s do one-to-one right now. I know how to fight. Don't be throwing your shoes in shame. (Talking to a person) was it you? What are you trying to do? Come on, please. I don't want you to see anything wrong. Be respectful."
