Govinda's Sister Kamini Khanna On Separation Rumours: 'We Meet Very Rarely, So...'

The rumours surrounding Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's separation have been circulating online for days. Here's what the actor's sister has to say.

New Delhi: Actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja's rumoured split has been making the rounds, but now Govinda's sister Kamini Khanna has broken her silence to disclose what little she knows about the matter. 

Kamini said that she was unaware of the situation since Govinda and Sunita were both very busy. She said, "I don't know much. I stay very busy, and they are very busy too" in an interview with IANS. 

Govinda's sister explained, “We meet very rarely, so I don’t know much. I don’t want to say too much on this topic because both families are involved, and I have a lot of love for both.”

Kamini went on to describe her connection and relationship with Sunita as one of genuine mutual support and friendship. She said, “Our parents are no longer with us, so we are like parents to each other. And we are also very good friends.”

While aware of the media speculation, Kamini highlighted the need to respect the couple's privacy during such sensitive times.

Sunita Ahuja Addresses the Rumours

At the same time, Sunita Ahuja cleared the air over her relationship with Govinda in a video that went viral, addressing the media. She stated that the reason for living apart was because of Govinda's political career. She said, “We live separately because when Govinda joined politics, my daughter was growing up, and party workers would frequently visit our home. Since we would wear shorts and move around freely at home, we decided to get an office nearby.”

Shrugging off the divorce rumours, Sunita boldly reaffirmed her deep bond with Govinda. She said, “If anyone in this world dares to separate me and Govinda, let them come forward.”
