New Delhi: On his wife Shibani Dandekar's birthday, Farhan Akhtar posted a birthday message on social media. He uploaded a charming old photo of himself and his wife.
Farhan posted on Instagram a picture from one of their date nights and wrote, "Happy birthday partner…may life give you all you want and more…may you always have reasons to smile… (but enough about me) love you loads. Have the best year yet. (heart emojis)."
Shibani responded to his post and wrote, “I love you so much! Thank you for the best gift in the world! You!”
The filmmaker Farah Khan, Farhan's cousin, urged him to simply be happy that his wife got married in their family. She commented on his post and wrote, “She married into our family. Bas enough.”
Before getting married last year, Farhan and Shibani dated for around three years.
On the work front, Shibani Dandekar was last seen in the second season of web series 'Made In Heaven'. She appeared as a queer bride in the episode Warrior Princesses. On the other hand, with a teaser released last month, Farhan revealed Ranveer as the new Don as he got ready for 'Don 3'.
Farhan also responded to criticism regarding the casting. “Ranveer is amazing. He’s great for the part. He’s also, as you can imagine, really excited and really nervous, about the thing you’re filling some big shoes before you. But we went through the same emotional process when Shah Rukh did it and everyone was like ‘Oh my God, how can you replace Mr. Bachchan?.’That whole thing happened then,” Farhan told BBC Asian Network.
'Don 3' is scheduled for release in 2025 and is produced by Excel Entertainment's Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
