Diljit Dosanjh has been making waves with his concerts in India. Recently, during his performance in Pune, a particular moment stole the spotlight and quickly went viral on social media. In the video shared on Instagram, a man brought his girlfriend on stage and proposed to her, going down on one knee as the audience erupted in cheers. He then kissed her hand and hugged her, while Diljit sang nearby.
Diljit Dosanjh's reaction to man proposing girlfriend at his concert
Diljit joined in on the celebration, clapping, cheering, and encouraging the audience to applaud the couple. He even shook hands with the man and hugged the girlfriend. When the man revealed they had been together for 13 years, Diljit confirmed this with the girlfriend.
Upon her agreement, Diljit jokingly said, "If he ever fights with you, just ring me up." This wholesome interaction has won hearts online, with netizens praising Diljit for allowing the fan to create such a memorable moment. One fan commented, "@diljitdosanjh wah!! Love anthem going great." Another wrote, "Such a beautiful moment," while others noted, "How happy is Diljit looking," and "Now this is the dream proposal, man."
Another highlight of the concert was Diljit promoting the benefits of yoga. Speaking in Hindi, he shared, “If you do yog, it doesn’t matter where you work or what you study; the speed of your work will double, and you won’t even realize it. Everything will align. Yog isn’t just exercise or stretching; it’s a journey within. Yog will align you for your journey.”
Diljit Dosanjh's Pune Concert
The Pune concert also faced some controversy. On Sunday, the state excise department cancelled the permit to serve liquor at the event. This incident followed Diljit’s Ahmedabad concert, where he had openly challenged state governments to ban alcohol at his shows. The challenge came after the Telangana government prohibited songs promoting alcohol and drugs at his Hyderabad concert. Complying with legal notices, Diljit modified his song lyrics during that performance.
