New Delhi: On its tenth anniversary, BTS announced that the group will release the digital song 'Take Two'. BigHit Music shared details about the song's release on Weverse on Wednesday. According to a BigHit Music statement, the new song features all seven BTS members. It is a song that expresses their gratitude for their fans, ARMY.
The statement on Weverse read, "Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, BTS will release the digital single Take Two this coming June. All seven members participated in Take Two. The song conveys their appreciation toward ARMY for all the love you shower them with and their desire to always be together with you."
"We sincerely express our gratitude to ARMY for making the 10th anniversary possible with your endless love for BTS, and we hope that Take Two will become a precious Gift from BTS to you all. We ask for your love and support for Take Two. Release Date: 1 PM, Friday, June 9, 2023 (KST) Thank you," it read.
They released The Planet OST earlier this year for a Korean animated film. BTS will soon celebrate its tenth year since its debut this year. The news follows BTS FESTA, the annual celebration of their debut anniversary in June 2013, which takes place that same month. BTS had earlier announced the official start of this year's BTS Festa. On June 2-3 and June 7-13, new content will be released. The festivities start on May 31. BTS has also scheduled events on June 14, June 16, and June 17.
Meanwhile, Jin and J-hope, two members of BTS, are presently serving in the military. The other members, including RM, Jimin, Suga, Jungkook, and V, will do the same.
